What is Tri-M?
Tri-M Music Honor Society is an honor society that recognizes students that have exceeded both academically and musically. Each student is chosen by their character, cooperation, leadership, service and scholarship. It is the only honor music society for middle/high schoolers and requires dedication and hard work.

What does Tri-M do?
- Provide an appropriate method for recognizing the musical achievements of our members
- Strengthen our school’s music program by helping students reach their full musical potential
- Motivate and recognize our members’ musical and personal achievements, credits, and grades
- Recruit a diverse group of members and encourage them to work together toward a common goal
- Inspire and challenge our members with goals and cooperation
- Focus public attention on our school’s music program through community service and contributing to our community
- Create a safe, equitable, and inclusive environment to develop the next generation of leaders in our musical community

Requirements:
- They must have enrolled in a music ensemble and/or class for at least one semester of the current school year at Correia Middle School)
- They must exhibit leadership, service, and character in their activities while at Correia Middle School
- They must have maintained for the previous semester at least an A average grade in music with at least a B average grade or equivalent in other academic subjects.
- You must have an M average citizenship grade in other academic subjects.
- Chapter Advisor(s) have the final say in your ability to participate in Tri-M.

- February 21 - New Member meeting - Wed - 2:45pm - 3:15pm
