Welcome to Intermediate Band!
This course is designed for experienced music students with 1-2 years of music experience. Admittance into this class is through the instructor's selection and/or by audition. In this class, students first review fundamental knowledge of instruments and music, and then study and perform music of all styles. Classical music is emphasized in the course of study as are show tunes, pop music, and jazz. Festivals, programs, and tours are a large part of the course and participation is mandatory. In addition, commitment to extra rehearsals is required.
